Statistics

This page refers to the older version of the statistics. To view documentation about the enhanced statistics look here.

What is the Statistics area?

The Statistics area provides an area for the school administrator to see information about how your school is used in u.select.

There are several types of statistics that u.select can provide:

  • Accounts:  This gives a count on how many accounts are created with your school and the number of logons by these accounts.  Please note that not all accounts were saved with a creation date in the CAS 3 version of CAS.  Your numbers may only show accounts created since CAS 4 went live on January 26, 2008.
  • Number of Plans Run for Your School: Plans run for your school by users with any School ID. This number includes only those Plans that have been saved by users and does not include Plans that have been submitted and then deleted.
  • Number of Plans Run by Your Users:  Plans run for any school by students with your School ID. This number includes only those Plans that have been saved by users and does not include Plans that have been submitted and then deleted.
  • Student Courses Entered:  This gives a count of the number of courses entered by students with an account with your School ID and a list of what schools courses were added for.
  • Degree Programs:  This gives a count for the number of Degree Programs that your school ID has stored in u.select.

How do I use the Statistics area?

Request a Report

  1. Click the checkbox(s) of the statistical report(s) you would like to run
  2. Enter the date range for the report
    1. If you select to enter a date range that means u.select will only search for data during that date range. For example, if you select to search for Accounts and choose a date range of 01/26/2008 - 05/22/2008, u.select will display only the number of accounts created between Jan 26, 2008 and May 22, 2008.
  3. Click Submit

The results will show up at the bottom of the page.  If needed, you can click on the export options to export the file in either Excel or comma delimited format.
