Currently Enrolled Student

How do I use u.select if I am a student who is currently enrolled at a college or university and want to transfer?

If you are at school right now, but would like to explore transferring, u.select can help. Review the following areas to help you plan for transfer.

Programs
u.select provides a list of requirements for programs that you may be interested in.   Visit the Programs area to view those.

My Courses
One of the large benefits for using u.select is the ability to add, save and store courses to your account to be evaluated. In order to store this information, you must have an account with u.select. Creating an account is free and quick to establish, and can be created with any participating school.  The courses stored in My Coursescan be courses you've already taken or courses you plan to take and would like to see the applicability of by an institution of choice. There are also some schools that provide the capability for you to import your course history from their database in order to save you time in entering those courses (or printing off a transcript).

Transfer Planning
Creating a plan provides information beyond the skeleton of the Program area, and provides the unofficial evaluation of your courses (from My Courses) and places them in the program report so that you know where and how they APPLY to the program you want to enter.

Plan with Equivalencies

Some schools have the ability to provide users with a Plan with equivalencies, which provides information about another institutions courses within the audit. Let's explore: If you're interested in the Athletic Training program from Kent State University, but are taking classes currently with Lakeland Community College, you can reference LCC's courses in the Kent State Plan by indicating that you want Kent to provide the equivalent LCC course to those required of their Athletic Training program.

School Information Links

From within u.select, you can see links to different student services available from the participating schools. Each school is responsible for providing these links, and the number available will vary.
