Using DARwin on the Web

Requirements

You must use Internet Explorer

IE Settings

In IE go to:

• Tools
• Internet Options
• Security Tabs
• Click Trusted Sites Icon
  • Click the Sites button
• Enter http://encoding.redlanternu.com as a trusted site (may need to un-check the require server verification box)
  • Click Add
• Click Close
• Click OK

Windows 7

• Ensure "Protected Mode" is on for Trusted Sites
• Install the Appeon Excelorator for "All Users on this Machine"

Getting started

Navigate to this website:
http://encoding.redlanternu.com/ohio

You'll be prompted to "run" the Ohio DARwin

• Select Run Now
• Hit OK

Logging In to DARwin

Logging into DARwin on the web is just the same as it is with a desktop client.

• Enter your InstIDQ/ID/CD information as appropriate.
• Enter your username/password
• The profile will be preselected
• Connect
